    Hey all-

So I gotta ask….What do you think of the new website? Yeah, yeah! We all thought it was about time to update things, and we’re really excited to see how it turned out!

Chicago. Man, what a let down. If you’ve been a part of the Sandcarver family long enough, you know how much I enjoy playing the Abbey. We have so much cool history there, so many great memories of the people we’ve met, and some of our best performances have been at the Abbey. We were deeply saddened to find out that we had to postpone the show due to massive flooding that occurred within and on the outskirts of the city. Jason Dove and I got into the city very early Saturday morning to enjoy the celtic fest, and to promote the show were scheduled to headline. The event was cosponsored with Paddy Rock Radio, and I notified DJ John Bowles immediately to let him know what was going down.

His suggestion? “Well, the inside of the pub’s not quite flooded, let’s meet there!” (man, there’s a new song in there somewhere….)

Soon after we found out that Kevin Flynn and the Avondale Ramblers were able to get to the Abbey, and they were able to perform. And if I was up for it, come up and join us! Yeah! I was dragged up for a sing-a-long on their version of ‘Dirty Old Town’, then played a four song solo set while they took a break. A very special thanks to all of you that were able to make it, especially Ashling of Celtic Promotions, a great friend. And Bryce Lehman formally of Sandcarver fame. Very cool to see you my friend. Glad to see you’re doing well. Congrats!

    See you soon, and thanks.

    Jeffrey
